CAMERON—In addition to the conviction of a Milano woman for taking money from the Milano Booster Club (see story, page 1A) district court action was listed as follows by Prosecutor Bill Torrey:

• Roberto Cardoza, 28, Cameron, was sentenced to a six-year prison term after a jury previously found him guilty of assault family violence with previous conviction. He was also sentenced to a six-year prison term after pleading guilty to a injury to a child.

• James Ward Timmerman, 43, Rock-dale, was sentenced to one year in the county jail, probated for two years. plus anger management and fined $2,000 after pleading guilty to assault causes bodily injury family member.

• Wayde Louis Patschke, 30, Thorn-dale, was placed on three years deferred adjudication, 166-day county jail term, fined $2,500 fine and assessed $325 in restitution to the victim after pleading guilty evading arrest with motor vehicle.

• Juan Mendez, 25, Dallas, was sentenced a 90-day county jail term after pleading guilty to possession of controlled substance (less than one gram).

• Mardavius Powell, 19, Cameron, was placed on seven years deferred adjudication, plus 158-day jail term, anger management and fined $2,500 fine after pleading guilty to aggravated assault with deadly weapon.

• Justin Thomas Sons, 24, Cameron, was sentenced to a three-year prison term after pleading guilty to a assault family violence with prior conviction.
