BUCKHOLTS—Milam County’s annual Row Crops Tour is going ahead on schedule July 2, but there are some significant changes due to the COVID-19 situation, according to County Agent Floyd Ingram.

Ingram said the event will still be face-to-face, but will be shortened, held entirely outdoors and there will be no meal.

He said participants will gather at 7 a.m. Thursday, July 2 at Cotton/Sorghum Plots on County Road 118A near Buckholts.

“From Texas 36, turn north on FM 1915 in Buckholts, travel 4.8 miles, turn right (northbound) on CR 118A and look for the Texas AgriLife Extension signs,” he said. “Two CEUs (one IPM, one general) are offered.”

Fee is $10. To RSVP call the Milam Extension Office, 254-697-7045.
