POLICE REPORT
A pursuit involving two 15-year-old male juveniles police suspect of damaging and vandalizing mobile homes ended suddenly Thursday.
“ was chasing them both when they attempted to go over a fence,” Lt. S tephen Goodrich told The Reporter.
“One got over fence and one didn’t. I got the one who didn’t get over. The other one cleared the fence and went right into the arms of Ofc. Dillian Ford, who was waiting on the other side.”
Police responded to the end of S an Gabriel S treet for a report of someone breaking windows and writing graffiti.
Goodrich said police responded but did not locate the boys. “W e went back about 45 minutes later, figuring they were hiding and would probably have come out,” he said. “That’s when the chase started.”
Both were charged with burglary of a habitation and evading arrest/detention.
LAPTOPS— Goodrich said a report involving theft, and attempted theft, of display laptop computers from
almart was cleared with an arrest last Tuesday.
Jacob Ronald Hart, 29, of Rockdale, was charged with theft of property (less then $2,500) with two more previous convictions.
ACCIDENTS — Police responded to a two-vehicle accident at 4 :33 p.m. S unday in the 600 block of S an Gabriel.
Drivers were listed as Juan Otero and Edward Zachary, both of Rockdale.
Xnspecified injuries were reported.
Police said vehicles operated by Margie Branson of Milano and cottie Hillman of Rockdale were in collision at 7:16 p.m. Jan. 14 at the Cameron-Main (XS :9-FM 908) intersection.
Minor damages were reported in an 8:29 p.m. Thursday collision at the Cameron-Childress intersection. Drivers were listed as Robert S pringer and Jesus Casas, both of Rockdale.
Police listed drivers as Marshall Phillips of S an Antonio and Christian Hilbarra of Rockdale in a two-car collision at McDonald’s at :16 p.m. Friday.
A 7:14 p.m. Friday collision at W almart involved vehicles operated by Alejandro Platas and Anthony Faust, both of Rockdale, according to police.
Police said a collision on XS :9 near Burleson at 11:31 a.m. Monday involved vehicles operated by Raul Flores of Rockdale and Joseph Cooper of Milano.
