It’s that time of year again.
Judging in Rockdale’s annual Christmas Lighting Contest is set for Sunday night, Dec. 15.
Denise Brock, Chamber of Commerce and Visitor Center staffer, said all those who want to be judged should have their lights on by 6 p.m. on that date.
After judging winners will be notified and asked to come to the Chamber’s Rock House Headquarters for a group photo to appear in The Rockdale Reporter.
Date and time will be announced later. Winners will also receive certificates from the Chamber/Visitor Center at that time.
Last year awards were bestowed in the following categories:
Residential—Best overall, best lights, best whimsical, best traditional, most animated.
Business—Best overall, best storefront, best lights.
