St. Paul’s barbecue fundraiser set Feb. 4 St. Paul Lutheran Church and School will hold their annual barbecue dinner and live auction on Sunday, Feb. 4, at the Thorndale Firemen’s Hall on North FM 486 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. with dine-in or to-go plates available.
Plates will include brisket, noodles, pinto beans, potato salad, pickles, onions and bread for $15. Desserts are available for a free will donation.

MC Cowboy Church to hold dinner, dance
Milam County Cowboy Church will hold a Valentine’s dinner and dance on Feb. 9 featuring Kenny Orts and No Chance.
Doors open at 6 p.m. with dinner at 6:15. The dance will be from 7 to 10 p.m.
Tickets must be purchased by Feb. 4 and are $30.
