Peace Lutheran Ash Wednesday, Lent services Peace Lutheran Church will have an Ash Wednesday service at 6:30 p.m. Feb. 14.
Soup suppers will commence during Lent starting on Feb. 21, on each Wednesday. Delicious soups and desserts will be served at 6 p.m. followed by evening prayer, drama “Pilate’s Investigation,” and a study conducted by Pastor Welton.
All are welcome.
St. John’s UMC chili supper set for Feb. 15
St. John’s United Methodist Church will hold their annual chili supper on Thursday, Feb. 15, from 5 to 7 p.m. in the fellowship hall.
Tickets are $13 and are available at the door and includes chili, cornbread, dessert of your choice and a drink and can be taken home or eaten there.
A portion of the proceeds will support the youth of Rockdale with activities including Vacation Bible School, food and snacks for school dances and summer church camp.
