BIG HOUSE CAMP—Above, students from churches in Mineola, Garland, Crosby, Cypress and Tom-ball worked together to install a wheelchair ramp at a site in Rock-dale. They were part of the 35 teenagers who came to Rockdale as part of the Big House Camp hosted by St. John’s United Methodist Church last week to work on renovations of 18 sites in Rockdale. The group built five wheelchair ramps, trimmed trees and did yard work. Fifty-seven people stayed at St. John’s and showered at Tiger Field fieldhouse courtesy of Rockdale ISD and the athletic department. The City and O’Reilly Autoparts provided dumpsters for the worksites.
