Backpack blessing at Lutheran church
Peach Lutheran Church will have a blessing of the backpack ceremony, 10:30 a.m., Sunday.
The blessing will be during regular service and students are invited to bring backpacks to 303 Meadow Dr., Rockdale 76567 to help them through the school year.

Church revival heals with jokes
Tracie L. Davis will be on hand to make Rockdalians laugh in October at Rising Star Baptist Church.
The Christian comedian will be hosting the Jokes for Hope in honor of breast cancer awareness month Oct. 26.

Christian music bash set for Aug. 24
Indie Christian music singer Mike Romero will perform a MC3 Back to School Bash 2019 at Milam County Cowboy Church.
The bash is from noon to midnight Aug. 24 at 2100 N. Highway 77, Rockdale, 76567.
