Drive-through pet blessing at church

Peace Lutheran Church will hold a “Bless the Pets Event” Saturday from 9-10:30 a.m.

The come and go event is open to the community and will be held on the lawn outside the church building entrance on Meadow Road.

“Bring your pets and have Pastor Gary give them a blessing,” said Mary Fenske.

Comedy show to address cancer

Rising Star Baptist church will host Tracie L. Davis who will deliver a stand-up comedy routine in honor of breast cancer awareness month as part of the Jokes for Hope event on Oct. 25.

Admission is free but seating is limited to ticket holders.

Church holds spook house, October 31st

The First Christian Church will have their annual Fall Fest on Halloween night, Oct., 31 from 5 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.

Fall Fest is open to the youth of the community and their parents or guardians at no charge.

They will offer hot dogs, candy for the kids, and their annual spook house which is already being designed.

Week-long revival in Caldwell church

CALDWELL–A week-long revival at Caldwell First Assembly church will start Sunday and end Friday, Oct. 4.

The first day of the revival will feature Evangelist Deon Hockey at 10:30 a.m. and 6 p.m.

Monday through Friday services will be at 6:30 p.m.

Hockey is an ordained minister from Johannesburg, South Africa with Five-Fold Ministries International. He has traveled the world as an evangelist for over 25 years.
