Santa to visit Liberty
Community Church
Liberty Community Church near Milano will have a visit from Santa on Sat., Nov. 30 from 3-6 p.m. Pictures with Santa will be available for a $5 donation.
Proceeds will benefit Milano Senior Citizens. All are welcome to attend and there will be cookies and munchies for the children.
Thanksgiving outreach dinner set Nov. 23rd
Rockdale’s annual Thanksgiving outreach dinner is set from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 23, offering a free meal for all in the community and surrounding areas.
Free delivery is available for the elderly, sick and shut ins.

Rockdale Christian
offers ‘Coats for Kids’
Rockdale Christian Church is providing new coats for children in the community “who are not fortunate enough to have good winter clothing,” according to Minister Harry Stevenson.
To qualify, a parent or guardian of a child elementary age or younger should contact the church at 512-446-2568 or 512-734-9155.
“A coat will be ordered once the request has been received and the necessary information has been provided,” Stevenson said.
St. Joseph’s group plans annual bazaar Dec. 7th
St. Joseph’s Catholic Church Christmas bazaar will be held Dec. 7.
The Ladies Altar Society of St. Joseph’s will have a fundraiser drawing, baked goods, chicken stew, chili, and door prizes.
Fundraiser tickets can be purchased from any lady of the society.
The society said any donations of bake goods or arts and crafts will be greatly appreciated.

Memorial Baptist Church hosts Christmas pageant
“Heaven’s View,” a Christmas pageant, will be presented at Memorial Baptist church in Thorndale on Dec. 1 at 6:30 p.m.
The evening will also offer shopping at the Olde Bethlehem Market which will include homemade treats, handmade crafts, hot chocolate, hot dogs and popcorn.
All proceeds from the sale goes to the Lottie Moon Mission Offering.
