First Assembly of God is hosting a craft fair on Saturday, Dec. 7 from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. in the fellowship hall with a chili meal for $5.

Rockdale Christian
offers ‘Coats for Kids’
Rockdale Christian Church is providing new coats for children in the community “who are not fortunate enough to have good winter clothing,” according to Minister Harry Stevenson.
To qualify, a parent or guardian of a child elementary age or younger should contact the church at 512-446-2568 or 512-734-9155.
“A coat will be ordered once the request has been received and the necessary information has been provided,” Stevenson said.
Santa to visit Liberty
Community Church
Liberty Community Church near Milano will have a visit from Santa on Sat., Nov. 30 from 3-6 p.m. Pictures with Santa will be available for a $5 donation.
Proceeds will benefit Milano Senior Citizens. All are welcome to attend and there will be cookies and munchies for the children.
St. Joseph’s group plans annual bazaar Dec. 7th
St. Joseph’s Catholic Church Christmas bazaar will be held Dec. 7.
The Ladies Altar Society of St. Joseph’s will have a fundraiser drawing, baked goods, chicken stew, chili, and door prizes.
Fundraiser tickets can be purchased from any lady of the society.
The society said any donations of baked goods or arts and crafts will be greatly appreciated.

Memorial Baptist sets Christmas pageant
“Heaven’s View,” a Christmas pageant, will be presented at Memorial Baptist Church in Thorndale on Dec. 1 at 6:30 p.m.
The evening will also offer shopping at the Olde Bethlehem Market which will include homemade treats, handmade crafts, hot chocolate, hot dogs and popcorn.
All proceeds from the sale go to the Lottie Moon Mission Offering.
Holiday happenings at Peace Lutheran Church
Peace Lutheran Church will hold Wednesday Advent Soup Suppers on Dec. 4, 11, and 18 starting at 6 p.m. All are welcome.
Also, as part of the Sunday service on Dec. 8, tree decorations will be completed, followed by Christmas cookie refreshments.
Other activities during the Christmas season include:
Dec. 10, 6:30 p.m.-—Ladies ornament exchange and Christmas Party in the fellowship hall.
Dec. 15 —Children’s Christmas Program during the Sunday service.
Dec. 24 at 6 p.m.— Christmas Eve Candlelight Service.
Dec. 29—Hymn singing during the regular Sunday morning service.
Calvary Baptist holding music service Sunday
Calvary Baptist Church will hold a music service of classic and country hymns and requests on Sun., Dec. 1 from 10:45 to noon, The public is invited.
Eugene Caffey, Robert Law-hon, Eugene Thedford and Jimmy Johnson will perform.
