First Baptist Church will present its Christmas Cantata “We’re Glad You came: A Musical Celebration of the Savior’s Birth” on Sun., Dec. 15 at 10:30 a.m.

The public is invited to attend.

Rockdale Christian offers ‘Coats for K ids’

Rockdale Christian Church is providing new coats for children in the community “who are not fortunate enough to have good winter clothing,” according to Minister Harry Stevenson.

To qualify, a parent or guardian of a child elementary age or younger should contact the church at 512-446-2568 or 512-734-9155.

“A coat will be ordered once the request has been received and the necessary information has been provided,” Stevenson said.

H oliday happenings at P eace Lutheran Church

Peace Lutheran Church will hold Wednesday Advent Soup Suppers on Dec. 11 and 18, starting at 6 p.m. All are welcome.

Also, as part of the Sunday service on Dec. 8, tree decorations will be completed, followed by Christmas cookie refreshments.

Other activities during the Christmas season include:

Dec. 15—Children’s Christmas Program during the Sunday service.

Dec. 24 at 6 p.m.— Christmas Eve Candlelight Service.

Dec. 29—Hymn singing during the regular Sunday morning service.
