St. Paul holds BBQ fundraiser Feb. 21
THORNDALE—St. Paul Lutheran Church and School will hold its annual barbecue brisket meal and live auction fundraiser from 10:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 21, at the Thorndale Firemen’s Hall on FM 486 North.
Due to the pandemic, things will look a little different this year. The meal will be drive through only.
Plates will be $12 each and will include barbecue Brisket with barbecue sauce, noodles, pinto beans, potato salad, coleslaw, pickles, onions, bread and a dessert.
The live auction will be held inside the hall with social distancing and all other safety precautions in place. The doors will open at 12:30 p.m. to view auction items and the auction will begin at 2 p.m.

Missionary to speak at First Assembly
First Assembly of God welcomes the community to hear Rev. Brandon Newman, a missionary to Scotland at 11 a.m. Sunday, Feb. 7.
Brandon, Melissa and Lexi Newman have been serving in Scotland since 2008.
