First Assembly of God is having an Easter egg hunt at 1 p.m. after the morning worship service followed by lunch.

The hunt is for children under 12 years old. Please bring your own basket/sack. For more information, contact Pastor RL Love at 512-429-2821.

An Easter sunrise service for Thorndale and surrounding communities will be held at Sunday 7 a.m. at Thorndale City Park Pavilion.

Pastor Billy Bob Cox from San Gabriel Christian Church will bring the message. Bring lawn chairs for your family.

Springfield Baptist Church will hold Easter services at 11 a.m. with special performances by the children.

St. Thomas Episcopal Church will have Maundy Thursday service at 7 p.m. at the church and online. On Good Friday there will be Stations of the Cross at noon and Good Friday services at 2 p.m. Holy Saturday service will be online only at 10 a.m. Easter service will be at 11 a.m. on Sunday in person and online.

St. John’s United Methodist Church will hold Maundy Thursday Tenebrae service at 7 p.m. and Easter services at 11 a.m. on Sunday.

Meadowbrook Baptist Church will hold Easter services at 11 a.m. on Sunday which will be live as well as on the radio and Facebook. Good Friday services will be live and on Facebook on Friday at 7 p.m.

St. Joseph’s Catholic Church will hold their services as follows Good Friday: Bilingual Stations of the Cross at 3 p.m. English Service at 6 p.m. and Spanish Service at 8 p.m. Holy Saturday: English Mass at 8:45 p.m. (Easter Vigil). Easter Sunday: 9 a.m. (English) and 11:15 a.m. (Spanish).

Rising Star Baptist Church will hold their Easter services at 10 a.m. Sunday.

Peace Lutheran Church will hold Maundy Thursday services at 6:30 p.m., Good Friday services at 6:30 p.m. and Easter services at 10:30 a.m.

Murray Street Church of Christ will hold Easter services on Sunday at 9:30 a.m., 10:30 a.m. and 6:30 p.m.

Easter services at First Presbyterian Church will be held outside in the prayer garden at 10:30 a.m.
