There are two expiring seats on the city council which will be voted on in the May 6 elections.
Current mayor pro tem Lin Perry is running for his current West ward seat unopposed.
The East ward seat being vacated by Denise Holmes Wallace after two terms will have a race between Britany Bell and David Melton.
There are two non-contested races in the expiring school board positions. Julia Cardona has filed for her current Place 7 seat, and Janice Keen is on the ballot for Place 6.
Also on the ballot in May is the $30 million school bond measure which will include safety and security updates and a renovation of the upper classrooms for second grade at the elementary school.
The intermediate school will have safety and security upgrades.
The junior high school will add eight classrooms, a renovation of the kitchen and cafeteria, a band hall addition, a two-court gym expansion, library renovation, administration expansion, site paving and safety improvements.
The high school will receive parking expansion and safety and security upgrades.
