Rockdale ISD and Rockdale City Hall have released the races for school board and city council.
On the school board, Charles Miles will run unopposed for Place 4. Amy Ogea Casas will have a race for her current Place 3 spot against Quin Kearney. Scott Heintze and Brad Ingram will vie for Place 5 on the board.
For city council, Esmeralda “Esme” Ruelas-Olivares will run unopposed for her current East Side place, while Kyle Walker will have a race to win his current West Side place against both Taylor Hjorth and Daniel Willie.
Ward Roddam, who is currently serving as mayor for an unexpired term, will not have an opponent.
