Cole book signing Feb. 10

Rockdale native Susan Wallis Cole will hold a book signing and reading from 10 a. m. to 12-noon Saturday, Feb. 10 at Main Street Bookshop.

The book is called Ella and Mac’s Bakery and from the back cover of the book, “Ella and Mac are sisters who have a dream. They love to bake! They have different strengths, but they combine their talents to create something special.” The children’s book is written about her real-life daughters, Ella and Mackinley Cole.

Cole is the daughter of the late Jimmy Wallis and Bettie Wallis, and she graduated Rockdale High School in 1986 and was a tennis superstar, placing second in the state tournament her senior year.

There will be plenty of books for sale at the event and in the store.
