Monday is Columbus Day and, while virtually all retail businesses will be open, there are some closings around the Rockdale area.
There are classes at Rockdale and Milano ISDs. In the Gause ISDs it’s a teacher work day/student holiday.
Thorndale St. Paul’s and the Thorndale ISD begin a week of “Fall Break” Monday.
Rockdale financial institutions will be closed Monday, as will the post office.
City Hall will be open and there will be garbage pickup on the regular schedule.
The Reporter will be open regular hours.
