The annual community Thanksgiving dinner was well attended Sunday at Gause Baptist Church Family Life Center. Lots of good food and a great time of fellowship.
This is a time each year that the community takes to get together. Everyone has such a busy schedule, it is great to have some “special time.”
Teachers and students have this week off for the Thanksgiving holidays. Hoping the teachers’ families did all the necessary arrangements for Thanksgiving Day and they get a break.
There are a number of school activities for December, including basketball games and the Christmas program which will be at 6 p.m. Dec. 12 in the gym.
There is a basketball game against Coupland in Gause.
On Dec. 20, there will be an early release at 12:30 to begin the Christmas holidays.
A group of us went to Milano to a singing at the Senior Citizens Center. Had an enjoyable time.
Sherri Rasco and Wanda Coats attended a baby shower for Megan Jackson in Bremond Sunday afternoon. The baby is due in January.
