Darian “Hump” Jackson was welcomed home with a parade on Sunday with the Rockdale Fire Department leading the way in their big, red firetruck.
Hump had been in the hospital since August of last year with encephalitis. He was then released into rehab and now he’s back home in Rockdale.
Friends and family gathered around him as balloons were passed out and cars and motorcycles honked letting Hump know that they were all happy to see him finally at home.
No parade awards were handed out, but without a doubt Maine and Stephanie Fisher would have won first prize in their bright orange, three-wheeled Polaris Slingshot Roadster.
