CORRECTION

In last week’s issue of the paper, one of the First Purple-And-White Scholarship recipients college was incorrectly identified. Frances King will be attending Midwestern State in Wichita Falls. Bob Roberson, who established the scholarship, was not pictured. He was an Aycock High School graduate and salutatorian of the class of 1956 and Hall of Honor member.
