Once again, we are preparing to celebrate the accomplishments of our Milam County 4-H members with our annual Awards Banquet. Each year, we honor those 4-H members who have excelled in their projects, leadership and contests throughout the year.
These young men and women have worked hard to achieve great accomplishments at the county, district, and state levels. Milam County 4-H is doing great things, we are so proud to share that our graduating seniors this year earned a combined total of over $50,000 in scholarships from 4-H Programs.
On behalf of Milam County 4-H, we invite Milam County 4-H members, leaders and community businesses and leaders to join us at this year’s banquet at 6 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 14. We will host our awards program at the Yoe High Performing Arts Center located at 1000 N. Fannin Ave. in Cameron.
This year we will host a reception beginning at 6 p.m with the Awards Program to begin promptly at 6:30 p.m. We are very excited to introduce a completely new format this year to honor our 4-H Members for their outstanding accomplishments. We hope you will be able to join us for this special night to meet some of Milam County’s finest youth and celebrate the great things these kids are doing through 4-H.
We greatly appreciate our communities’ support of Milam County 4-H and the kids of Cameron, Rockdale, Thorndale, Gause and Milano over the years. This year we are really wanting to reward the great efforts of our youth and are asking for extra contributions to the awards for our program.
