The Milam County 4-H County Council Officer team works throughout the year to put on countless events and help wherever needed.
This year, the team’s activities have been limited but they are still working hard to make sure 4-H stays fun and exciting, and a great life experience for 4-H members.
During the next few weeks, the 4-H program will introduce area officers.
This week’s 4-H officer is Grant Widner, county council chairman.
Grant Widner is the chairman of the County 4-H Council.
His projects include: Public Speaking, Consumer Decision Making, and Healthy Lifestyles. His favorite H in the 4-H’s are hands (hands to larger service). His 4-H role model is his County Extension Agent, Micah Holcombe. His favorite part of 4-H are the opportunities to help others. His favorite memory of 4-H are all the many good times during consumer decision making practices with reasons preparations. Grant is a senior in high school this year.
