If you love gardening and want to be a part of a great volunteer organization, register for the upcoming Master Gardener training program. Anyone from Milam and surrounding counties may register. Classes will meet on Wednesday mornings from Feb. 1 through mid-May in Cameron.
The program offers a minimum of 50 hours of instruction, including field trips. The fee for the class is $175, which includes The Master Gardener Handbook valued at $100, the cost of tours and other amenities.
