Under the direction of Bill Torrey, the Milam County District Attorney, the following felony cases were recently resolved in Judge John W. Youngblood’s 20th Judicial District Court:

• Carlos Daniel Dominguez, 22, Rockdale, was sentenced by the Court after a PreSentence Investigation and sentencing hearing to six years confinement in TDCJ, after pleading “open” to a 3rd Degree Felony, Bail Jumping – Fail to Appear and he was also sentenced to a second six-year sentence for an additional charge of 3rd Degree Felony, Bail Jumping – Fail to Appear. The sentences are to run concurrently.

• Travis Deshun Stephens, 40, Cameron, was sentenced to two years confinement in TDCJ after pleading “True” to the Motion to Revoke Probation for an original 3rd Degree Felony, Possession of Controlled Substance Less than One Gram – Drug Free Zone. • Dakota Shain Thompson, 24, Cameron, was sentenced to 20 months confinement in the State Jail Division of TDCJ and ordered to pay $600 to the victim after pleading guilty to a State Jail Felony, Theft of Firearm.

• Christy Elaine Locklin, 35, Rockdale, was placed on three years Deferred Adjudication with standard conditions of probation and was ordered to pay a $2,500 fine after pleading guilty to a State Jail Felony, Possession of Controlled Substance Less than One Gram. • Pedro Luis Hernandez, 55, Rockdale, was placed on two years Deferred Adjudication with standard conditions of probation including the successful completion of Theft Aversion Court and was ordered to pay a $1,000 fine and restitution of $5,540 to the victims after pleading guilty to a State Jail Felony, Theft $2,500 - $30K.

• Saul A. Morin Palao, 23, Big Lake, was placed on five years Deferred Adjudication with standard conditions of probation including the successful completion of Advanced Anger Management Classes and was ordered to pay a $,2500 fine after pleading guilty to a 3rd Degree Felony, Assault Family violence – Impede Breathing and was placed on five years Deferred Adjudication with standard conditions of probation and was ordered to pay a $2,500 fine after pleading guilty to a 3rd Degree Felony, Injury to a Child.

• Davana Leraine Sterling, 22, Rockdale, was placed on four years Deferred Adjudication with standard conditions of probation including the successful completion of Drug Education Course and was ordered to pay a $3,000 fine and $180 restitution to the DPS lab after pleading guilty to a 2nd Degree Felony, Possession of Controlled Substance 4-400 Grams.

• Shaddarwin Shaquann Blaylock, 32, Cameron, was placed on two years Deferred Adjudication with standard conditions of probation and was ordered to pay a $1,000 fine and $1,203.80 restitution to the victim after pleading guilty to a State Jail Felony, Unauthorized Use of Motor Vehicle.

• Nathaniel Henry Geyer, 25, Somerville, was placed on three years Deferred Adjudication with standard conditions of probation and was ordered to pay a $2,500 fine after pleading guilty to a 3rd Degree Felony, Evading with Motor Vehicle.

• Salvador Delgado-Lopez, 47, Taylor, was placed on four years Deferred Adjudication with standard conditions of probation including the successful completion of Advanced Anger Management classes and was ordered to pay a $1,500 fine and is to have no contact with victim or victim’s family after pleading guilty to a 3rd Degree Felony, Injury to a Child.

• Ricky Lee Bailey, 61, Rockdale, was placed on one year Deferred Adjudication with standard conditions of probation and was ordered to pay $724.18 restitution to the victim and to have no contact with the victim after pleading guilty to a Lesser Included Class B, Lesser Included Harassment.

• Lorna Rae Gibson, 49, Rockdale, was placed on ten years Deferred Adjudication with standard conditions of probation, including one hundred eighty days confinement in the Milam County Jail and was ordered to pay a $5,000 fine after pleading guilty to a 2nd Degree Felony, Lesser Included Injury to Elderly.

• Thomas Rosales, 45, Rockdale, was placed on five years Deferred Adjudication with standard conditions of probation, including the successful completion of Advanced Anger Management and was ordered to pay a $2,500 fine after pleading guilty to a 2nd Degree Felony, Burglary of Habitation – Assault.

• Ronald Randel Doughty Jr., 46, Temple, was sentenced to two years in the State Jail Division of TDCJ, probated for three years with standard conditions of probation including the successful completion of drug education class and was ordered to pay a $2,500 fine after pleading guilty to a State Jail Felony, Possession of Controlled Substance Less than One Gram.

• Danny Ray Morgan, 52, Spring, was sentenced to eight years confinement in TDCJ probated for four years with standard conditions of probation and was ordered to pay a $1,500 fine and $4,483.79 restitution to the victim after pleading guilty to a 3rd Degree Felony, Assault on a Public Servant.

• Ernest Lynwood Robertson, 60, Rockdale, was sentenced to 10 years confinement in TDCJ, probated for ten years with standard conditions of probation and was ordered to pay $8,944 restitution to the victim after pleading guilty toa 3rd Degree Felony, Assault Family Violence – Impede Breathing/Circulation.

• Aaron Ray Rodriguez, 28, Cameron, was sentenced to 10 years confinement in TDCJ, probated for eight years with standard conditions of probation and was ordered to pay a $1,500 fine after pleading guilty to a 3rd Degree Felony, Assault Causes Bodily Injury Family Violence with Previous Convictions.
