The work on the buildings in the 200 block of East Cameron Avenue is completed. The buildings were painted two colors to emphasize the two buildings, and had wood and stucco work done. Members of the Rockdale Downtown Association and the Rockdale Municipal Development District were on hand Thursday to congratulate the building owner Keith Hagler and the men from Friendship Painting who did the work. The building upgrade was coordinated by the RDA and Hagler who received a facade grant from the MDD for sprucing up the downtown structures.
