Not that several hundred youngsters at Fair Park for the Rockdale Chamber of Commerce & Visitor Center’s annual Easter Egg Hunt needed much encouragement Friday morning. The egg-hunters tracked down several hundred candy-filled eggs in just a bit over two minutes. There was also face-painting, hot dogs, Rockdale VFD pumper (background), and lots of happy parents, grandparents and family members. Chamber officials expressed appreciation to all who assisted and especially those who donated to make the event possible.
