CAMERON—Eighteen persons were sentenced recently in 20th District Court, according to Prosecutor Bill Torrey, who listed case dispositions, on guilty pleas, as follows:
• Quentel Antwain Westbrook, 26, Cameron, five-year prison term, aggravated assault with deadly weapon.
• Larry Sundance Young Jr., 47, Rockdale, 12-year prison term, DWI-third or more–enhanced.
• John Jaden Moreno, 17, Rockdale, two years deferred adjudication, $1,500 fine, $180 restitution to DPS lab, attempted possession of controlled substance (less than one gram).
• Dominique Yvonne Obanan, 45, Thorndale, two years deferred adjudication, $1,500 fine, $180 restitution to DPS lab, attempted possession of controlled substance (less than one gram.)
• Karen Yvette Ellison aka Karen Yvette Braziel, 42, Cameron, two-year, probated, state jail term, theft aversion course, $2,500 fine, $3,843.66 in restitution to victim theft ($2,500 to $30,000).
• Zavion Dekeevon Deshaw Logan, 18, Bryan, one-year probation, $1,500 fine, $180 restitution to DPS lab, attempted possession of controlled substance (less than one gram).
• James Earl York, 25, Tom-ball, three years deferred adjudication, $2,500 fine, $180 restitution to DPS lab, possession of controlled substance (less than one gram).
• Luke Anthony Treviño-Bailey, 20, Rockdale, two (2) years deferred adjudication, drug education course, $1,500 fine, $180 restitution to DPS lab, possession of controlled substance (less than one gram).
• Lisa Rochelle Madison, 43, Cameron, two years deferred adjudication, advanced anger management, 40 hours community service, $750 fine, assault family violence–impede breathing/circulation.
• Robert Thomas McAdoo, 46, Rockdale, three years deferred adjudication, $2,500 fine, restitution to be determined, attempted burglary of habitation–intend assault.
• Lafayette Morrison, 37, Cameron, two 10-year, probated, prison terms, 180-day county jail terms, $2,000 fines, 200 hours community services, burglary of habitation–assault, two counts.
• Roman Manuel Ramos, 26, Rockdale, five-year, probated prison term, $2,500 fine, $180 restitution to the DPS, evading arrest with motor vehicle.
• Kathleen Marie Shivers, 32, La Marque, three years deferred adjudication, $2,500 fine, $180 restitution DPS lab, possession of controlled substance (less than one gram).
• Jacob Ronald Hart Jr., 29, Rockdale, two years deferred adjudication, $2,500 fine, $42.66 restitution to victim, theft (less than $2,500) with priors.
• Jakob Patrick Garner, 19, Milano, was placed on 10 years deferred adjudication, classes as required, $3,500 fine, 400 hours community service, injury to a child.
• Joslyn Christine Heuer, 35, Pflugerville, three years deferred adjudication, drug education, substance abuse evaluation, $1,500 fine, $180 restitution to DPS lab, possession of controlled substance (less than one gram).
• Joshua Adam Strong, 39, Milano, two-year prison term, $2,500 fine, $180 restitution to DPS lab, possession of controlled substance (4-200 grams)
Also, Terry Wayne Brown Jr., 30, Lexington, pleaded “true” to probation revocation motion on an original charge of unauthorized use of motor vehicle and received a 180-day state jail term.
