POLICE REPORT
Electronics items were taken from Rockdale Medical Clinic in a weekend break-in.
The clinic, open since February, is in the former Rockdale Medical Association building at the corner of Main and San Andres.
Lt. Stephen Goodrich of the Rockdale Police Department said the incident was discovered Monday morning and had occurred since the facility closed Friday afternoon.
“Items taken included a flat-screen television, laptop computer, wi-fi device and a few odds and ends,” he said.
Goodrich said no drugs were taken. “There are really stringent requirements followed by medical facilities for storing drugs,” he added.
Police were unable to discover the point of entry but theorized a window may not have been totally secured.

An unrelated domestic incident Friday led to the arrest of Jose Botello-Chavez, 32, of Dallas on a charge of aggravated assault family/date/household member with deadly weapon.
Goodrich said wounds were incurred in a struggle for a knife. He said the injuries were not believed to be serious.
Botello-Chavez was also charged with an immigration detailer.
