THORNDALE—Victoria Elliott is the valedictorian and Mattie Fisher the salutatorian of the 47-member graduating class of 2017.
Graduation ceremonies will be held at 6 p.m. Saturday at the Main Street Events Center in Taylor.
Elliott compiled a 109.156
grade-point average. She is the daughter of David and Sherri Elliott.
Fisher posted a 107.636 GPA, She is the daughter of Jeff and Rebecca Fisher.
GPAs higher than 100 are possible due to weighted honors courses.
The Thorndale ISD does not release grade-point averages of any graduating seniors other than the top two.
The top 10, and parents, were listed as follows by the TISD, in alphabetical order:
