The 2018-19 school term is winding down and with it comes recognition of employees who have contributed their skills not only during the school term but for many past years.
The Rockdale Independent School District handed out in a recent Staff Appreciation Banquet at the junior-high commons.
Teachers, and other employees, were awarded plaques or service pins for years of employment by the district, teachers of the year for all four campuses were honored (see page 1A) and those retiring from the RISD were recognized.
