A former Milam County Deputy Sheriff is facing several charges in Williamson County, stemming from an argument.
Jeffrey Teasdale, 42, a Taylor resident, was arrested by police in that city and charged with assault with bodily injury/family violence and cruelty to non-livestock animals.
The allegations were in connection with incidents said to have occurred this summer, one in which it’s alleged a stuffed deer head was thrown at the victim and another in which it is alleged a dog was thrown into a wall.
The arrest affidavit states the dog was not seriously hurt.
Teasdale was fired from Milam County Oct. 5. He had previously been a Cameron Police Officer.
