The Rockdale Fair Association has announced this year’s dates and performers. The 47th annual fair will run from Oct. 15 to 22 and will include the Youth Livestock Show, bull riding, carnival, food vendors, car show, baked goods show and barbecue cookoff, as well as arts and crafts and cornhole and washer tournaments.
This year’s musical acts will be AJ Castillo on Oct. 20 at 9 p.m., Giovanni and the Hired Guns on Oct. 21 at 10:30 p.m. and Saturday’s acts will be McBride and The Ride at 9 p.m. and Josh Ward following at 11 p.m.
The Children’s Pageant and the Miss Rockdale Fair Pageant will be held Oct. 15 at the High School Auditorium. More information about the children’s pageant is to come according the Fair Association.
