The 48th annual Rockdale Fair & Rodeo will be held Oct. 14-21.
The Rockdale Fair Association has released all the details for this year’s event including the entertainment.
ENTERTAINMENT— On Thursday, Oct. 19, DJ Big Ant will play from 8-10 p.m. and David Lee Garza from 10-11:30 p.m.
Friday, Oct. 20, will feature The Emotions and Curt and Hannah from 8-10 p.m. and Randall King from 10:30 to midnight.
On Saturday, Oct. 21, Hayden Haddock plays from 9 to 10:30 p.m. and Wade Bowen takes over from 11 p.m. to 12:30 a.m.
PAGEANTS— The Children’s Pageant and Miss Rockdale Fair Pageant will be held on Oct. 14 at the Rockdale High School auditorium.
FAMILY NIGHT— Family Night with no admission fee is on Oct. 18 with the carnival and kick-off party starting at 6 p.m.
OTHER EVENTS— In addition, this year’s fair will offer the youth livestock show, commercial heifers, a barbecue cookoff, carnival, ag mechanics, arts and crafts, cornhole and washer tournaments, food vendors, car show, barrel racing, team roping and baked goods competition. The rodeo events start nightly at 7:30 p.m.
TICKETS— Tickets are $30 for a three-day pass for adults and $20 for children and senior citizens. Daily admission is $20 for adults and $10 for children and seniors.
