Fire calls for South Milam County fire departments, dispatched from the Rock-dale Police Department during the past week included:
• 9:17 a.m. Monday, Rockdale VFD summoned to Lee’s Landing restaurant, 313 West Cameron, for report of small fire wchich was quickly extinguished, according to police.
• 1:46 p.m. Feb. 20, grass fire, FM 908 at CR 429, Rockdale VFD.
• 8:31 p.m. Monday, storage building on fire, 16000 block of FM 487, Thorndale VFD. responded.
