Fire calls for the past seven days by South Milam County Volunteer Department, dispatched through the Rock-dale Police Department, were listed as follows:
• 10:22 a.m., April 16, fallen cable blocking roadway, 200 block of North Main in Thorn-dale, Thorndale VFD.
• 1:50 a.m. Thursday, power pole and power line across roadway, 3200 block of County Road 455, Thorndale VFD.
• 1:58 a.m. Thursday, reported transformer fire in 600 block of Francine, Rock-dale VFD responded to the scene and determined there was no fire but transformer blew.
• 11:17 p.m. Friday, tree fell from trailer with injuries, US 79 and CR 356, Gause VFD.
• Out-of-control burns for Gause and Rockdale VFDs, FM 719 and US 79 east of Gause.
• 11:43 a.m. Monday, Rock-dale VFD responded to report of structure fire on Travis Street.
