Calls for are volunteer fire departments dispatched through the Rockdale Police Department during the past week included the following:
• 6:48 p.m. May 7, power line arcing in tree, 200 block of Russell, Rockdale VFD.
• 3:10 p.m. May 8, Rock-dale and Thorndale VFD weather spotter storm spotters activated by National Weather Service Rockdale VFD responded with truck to western city limits.
• 8:03 p.m. Thursday, Rockdale VFD responded to report of person trapped in vehicle, subject was not injured and was freed, 600 block of Calhoun, call did not involve a moving vehicle accident.
