Fire calls dispatched from the Rockdale Police Department during the past week included:
• 5:25 p.m. Thursday, corn field on fire, 900 block of FM 1331, Thorndale VFD.
• 10:51 a.m. Thursday, Milano VFD responded to vehicle vs. tree accident at the Texas 36-CR 328 intersection. (See story in News-briefs, above).
• 11:29 p.m. Friday, truck, shed and grass on fire. 800 block of CR 308, Rockdale VFD.
• 2:49 p.m. Sunday, grass fire, Glendale Road, Rockdale VFD.
