South Milam County fire calls dispatched through the Rockdale Police Department during the past week were listed as follows:
• 2:33 p.m. Friday, grass fire 600 block of County road 305, Rockdale VFD.
• 3:43 p.m. Saturday, Rockdale VFD responded to intersection of US 77 and Northbound Drive for report of horse’s hoof caught in floor of trailer.
• 2:55 p.m. Sunday, grass fire, intersection of County Roads 416 and 417, Thorndale VFD was summoned but fire was put out before units arrived.
• 4:30 p.m. Monday, Rockdale VFD responded to FM 908 one mile north of County Road 305 for report of tree blocking road’s northbound lane.
