Fire calls dispatched from the Rockdale Police Department during the past week included:
• 2:24 p.m. July 14, Gause, Milano, Cameron and Hearne VFDs responded to large grass fire on both sides of 300 block of CR 357A.
9:06 p.m. July 14, Gause VFD called back to CR 357A for rekindle.
• 3:37 p.m. Thursday, Rockdale and Thorndale VFDs responded to grass fire in 400 block of FM 3061.
• 7:36 p.m. Thursday, Milano VFD dispatched to site of burn ban violation, West Avenue E in Milano.
• 10:36 p.m. Thursday, Rockdale VFD dispatched to “suspicious fire” on private road west of Rockdale.
• 4:02 p.m. Saturday, Rockdale VFD dispatched to 200 block of Division Street for grass fire.
• 2:12 p.m. Sunday, grass fire, FM 3242 at CR 237, Milano VFD.
• 8:01 p.m., back porch on fire, Coyote Crossing Trailer Park near Milano, out prior to arrival of Milano VFD.
• 8:21 p.m. Monday, Milano and Caldwell VFD sent to report of railroad ties on fire near Milam-Burleson county line. No fire located.
