The Rockdale Volunteer Fire Department went out on a possible grass fire call Sept. 8 at 11:27 a.m.
But it turned out to be a controlled burn.
• The Thorndale Volunteer Fire Department answered a 4:23 p.m. call Sunday for a reported property fire.
But once on the scene the firefighters found that it was a controlled burn.
• The Milano Volunteer Fire Department went to a 7:28 p.m. Sunday call in the 6000 block of US 79 near Nat’s for a tractor and hay baler fire.
• The Milano volunteers had to go back Monday to the 6000 block of US 79 at 8:13 a.m. because the fire at that spot had rekindled.
• The Milano Volunteer Fire Department responded Monday to a 12;12 p.m. call for a hay bale fire at CR 360.
