Fire calls dispatched from the Rockdale Police Station during the past week were listed as follows:
• 12:52 p.m. Aug. 15, one-fourth acre grass fire, 2800 block of County Rod 412, Rockdale VFD.
• 4:48 p.m. Aug. 15, largest grass fire on Alcoa property, closest crossroads, CR 443 and CR 313, Rockdale VFD.
• 9:47 p.m. Thursday, Rockdale VFD and AMR ambulance crew responded to report of gas leak in 1000 block of Alford. Firefighters were unable to locate any leak.
• 10:31 a.m. Friday, grass fire in 1400 block of County Road 328, Milano VFD.
• 12:25 p.m. Friday, electrical burning smell, 400 block of CR 350, Milano VFD.
• 2:04 p.m. Monday, Gause VFD responded to structure fire, 300 block of CR 352, Milano VFD responded to site for mutual aid.
• 3:18 p.m. Monday, Rockdale VFD was called out to 700 block of West Bell for a “popping transformer” and fallen power line. Oncor also notified.
