• The Rockdale VFD responded to a woodpile on fire on Riley Street and a grass fire on North FM 908. They also responded to eight calls for medical assist.
• Milano VFD responded to three calls this week. One for a lift assist on Holdiness Lane, one for a medical assist and another for railroad ties on fire on South TX 36.
• Thorndale VFD responded to three calls for medical assist.
• Gause VFD responded to a call on East US 79 for a possible house or oil well fire which turned out to be an oil well flare.
