• The Rockdale VFD responded to two fires over the past week. On Tuesday they responded to a structure fire which was vacant. On Wednesday they responded to South US 77 for a truck hauling cattle which had a ruptured fuel tank. The RVFD also responded to a two vehicle accident at Murray and Meadow with injuries, and a request for assistance from AMR for lift assistance.
• Milano VFD responded to a shed on fire in Milano, and a major accident on Saturday at the intersection of US 79 and South TX 36.
• The Thorndale VFD responded to an accident on Tuesday in which an 18-wheeler struck a utility pole, and to a grass fire on CR 412 on Monday.
• The Gause VFD responded to a grass fire on Saturday at US 79 and CR 353.
