Fire calls dispatched from the Rockdale Police Station during the past week included the following:
• 1:06 a.m. April 21, vehicle smoking in driveway in 400 block of Hickory, Rockdale VFD.
• 7:26 a.m. Saturday, Milano VFD dispatched to Texas 36 railroad overpass for 18-wheeler stuck under bridge.
• 8:27 p.m. Sunday, Thorndale VFD dispatched to CR 426 at Milam-Williamson line for unattended fire near a line of trees.
