Games, food ahead Thursday

It’s Rockdale’s turn to host the Fourth of July fireworks bash.
Fair Park will be the site of the 6 to 10 p.m. observance on Thursday.
According to the Rock-dale Chamber of Commerce, $5 wristbands will be sold for unlimited children’s games.
Food vendors will sell hot dogs, sausage wraps, kolaches, corn-in-a-cup, nachos and funnel cakes.
Music will be by the Communities in Concert Band. “Bring lawn chairs, come early and get a good spot,” Denise Brock, Chamber of Commerce president, said.
Sponsors are Atmos Energy, Citizens National Bank, Classic Bank, Rockdale Federal Credit Union and Knife River Concrete and Minerals.
