The usual large crowd was on hand Friday morning at the city library for the free monthly First Friday get-together. This edition featured a brief address by volunteer Dave Melton (above, right) on plans for the 2018 Earth Day in Rockdale. Earth Day activities are set for April 20 and 21. More information on events and projects later.
