Rockdale Earth Day is sponsoring the First Friday Coffee at the Lucy Hill Patterson Memorial Library on April 5.
All are invited from 9 to 10:30 a.m.
Jubilee Days run through
Saturday
Jubilee Days at Fair Park started Wednesday and runs through Saturday, and there will be something for everyone there including a carnival and all kind of things for kids to do.
Wednesday and Thursday are family nights and there is no charge to get in. On Friday and Saturday children and senior citizens admission is $5 and adults $10.
Food Pantry to be closed
Monday
The Rockdale Christian Services Food Pantry will be closed on Monday, April 8.
They are closed that day so their volunteers can enjoy the eclipse activities.
MARC open house April 16
MARC will hold an open house on Tuesday, April 16, from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. Come see how MARC operates with the money they receive every year from the annual MARC Ride.
“We would like everyone to join us and learn more about our organization and the services provided at the center. Refreshments will be served,” said Ann King, president.
