POLICE REPORT
Rockdale police were called to five traffic accidents during the past week as follows:
• 7:38 a.m. Friday, Wilcox at Cameron (FM 487 at US 79), drivers John Fisher and Eliza Vargas, both of Rock-dale, minor damages.
• 4:11 p.m. Friday, Rock-dale Memorial Company parking lot, drivers Kei Antilley of Lee and Megan Murray of The Woodlands, moderate damages.
• 9:39 p.m. Saturday, 200 block of East Cameron Ave. (US 79), drivers James May-berry and Maria Vasquez, both of Rockdale, major damages.
• 5:35 p.m. Monday, Brook-shire Bros. parking lot, vehicle owned by Thomas Lopez struck by unknown vehicle which left the scene, moderate damage.
• 6:54 p.m. Monday, 1300 block of Alcoa, drivers Zachary Stockton and Judy Woolverton, both of Rock-dale, moderate to minor damages.
ARRESTS—On Aug. 8, police arrested 33-year-old Cassie Mitchell of Rockdale and charged her with injury to child/elderly/disabled with intent bodily injury.
She was released after posting $10,000 bond.
Gabriela Contreras, 19, of Rockdale was charged with endangering a child/ child negligence on Thursday. She remains in custody on $10,000 bond.
• Police arrested Payden Church, 25, of Rockdale on Sunday. He was charged with assault causing bodily injury/household member and on a Milam County warrant for bond surrender/aggravated perjury.
He remains in custody with no bond on the assault charge an $7,500 bond on the other charge.
