Rockdale Police Officers made five felony arrests during the past week including: • Cynthia Ann Alderete, 33, Taylor, was arrested by Ofc. Krejci on Wednesday at 10:13 p.m. for unauthorized use of motor vehicle, possession of a controlled substance (less than 1 gram), and tampering/fabricating physical evidence with intent to impair.

 

• Steven Charles Ellis, 54, Rockdale, was arrested by Ofc. Edward Wachtel on Thursday at 4:02 a.m. on a Milam County warrant for bond forfeiture on possession of marijuana (less than 2 ounces).

 

• Winston Loy Woolverton, 42, Rockdale, was arrested by Ofc. Edward Wachtel on Friday at 12:42 a.m. on a Pardon and Parole Board warrant for assault causes bodily injury family violence and fraudulent use/possession of identifying information.

 

• Wayne Anthony Bynaum Jr., 21, Cameron, was arrested by Of. Puente on Sunday for a Milam County warrant for motion to proceed probation violation/unauthorized use of motor vehicle, and a Temple warrant for interfering with an emergency request for assistance, failure to identify fugitive and no drivers license.

 

• Jeffery David Marsh, 61, Rockdale was arrested by Ofc. Hensley on Monday for burglary of a building.

Accidents

On Jan. 3 at 6:30 a.m. Officer Davis met with Jesse Trevino who stated that he was hit by an unknown truck that knocked him down. EMS was notified for arm pain.

Arrests

RPD officers made 11 arrests during the past week including one each for criminal trespass, warrant for interfering with emergency request for assistance, Rockdale Capias warrant for no driver’s license, failure to identify giving false information, resisting arrest/ search or transport, driving with license invalid, expired license plate, warrant for expired driver’s license, warrant for displaying expired tag, Rockdale warrant for failure to appear and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Calls for service

Officers responded to 280 total calls for service this week with 113 being for 911 emergency service.

Incident report

There were 34 incidents on the report this week including six for interview room only, three for unauthorized use of motor vehicle, two each for outstanding warrants and expired registration, and one each for theft, terroristic threat, harassment, possession of a controlled substance in a drug free zone, possession of a controlled substance (less than 1 gram), tampering/ fabricating with physical evidence, criminal trespass, criminal trespass of a building, sexual assault of a child, failure to identify fugitive, no driver’s license, probation violation for unauthorized use of motor vehicle, interfering with emergency request for assistance, resisting arrest, driving with license expired, expired registration, burglary of a building, possession of drug paraphernalia, expired driver’s license, displaying expired registration, failure to appear and burglary of habitation.
